I was checking out Sophia Bush's (from One tree hill) blog and I was really outraged when a store than I also buy from "Urban Outfitters" is promoting on their newest t-shirt to eat less. Check out what Sophia Bush had to say here. I'm honestly getting tired of the media and pressure of young women to look a certain way and fit a certain size. And like Sophia Bush said, from a high-street store that I actually like to promote something so demeaning is unacceptable.
Do go and read what Sophia has to say here. What do you guys think of this?

This is horrible! At least they've pulled it off line. I won't shop there if this is what they are telling young women! I just blogged about this and linked you, thanks for the heads up!
thats really bad !! shame on you UO ,, i liked what sophia said ! she did amazing by sending them the letter ,,
That is just so wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they withdraw those tee and change the slogan to be more positive!!! LOVE your post!!! Fabulous, you go girl!!! xoxo
They could have thought a little harder about this I'm sure.
Wow...I agree. That is awful. Add to that the fact that they've put it on an ultra skinny model and it just shouts "become anorexic" to the girls of the world.
So sad. So irresponsible. Grrrr.
horrible!
i JUST read about this...it's so dumb - the blog i was reading pointed out how they could have said something like 'eat healthy' instead! i would be so embarrassed to wear this...I hope I don't see anyone in it!
This is shameful!
I can't believe people would ever think to put something like that on a tee.
D .<3
omgash this is ridiculous, young
girls are already under so much
pressures to try to fit in and
seeing this is just going to make
them feel like its mandatory to
be skinny and that its the only
way to be accepted. this is so
sad. :(
