Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Trailer

Who else is excited for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?? The first part of the final two movies. This is definitely sad. I've been a fan of Harry Potter since I watched the first movie when I was 10 years old, I immediately fell in love and started reading all the books and since then have been an ultimate fan. So this is kind of bitter sweet! No more waiting for another Harry Potter book to launch and only 2 more movies. How sad do I sound? heh.. Well here's a new trailer for the movie! Check it out :) x

Downtown Toronto..

...Love this city. A few weeks ago before I came to Dubai my cousins and I went to a restaurant/lounge that's set on the 53rd floor I believe. There's a seating area inside and outside. This is the gorgeous view you'd get just sitting outside.. I absolutely adore Toronto.

How Atayef (Arabic Sweet) is made

Step 1) You can make the dough at home for the Atayef at home but usually you can get them freshly made in different Bakeries :) In the older days the Bakers would actually pour each and every one of the Atayef dough but they've advanced technology and I thought the machine was so cool! :)

Step 2) There are usually two fillings for the atayef nuts and cheese (my favourite is cheese!)

Step 3) This is how they look before you put them into the oven. Before putting them into the oven usually you put some margarine on each one in order to give it a nice color

Step 4) Voila! Now to get it to be sweet we usually dip each one of the Atayefs in a sugary sauce called "Atter" and to make it you basically just put sugar and water in a pan and boil it for a while and you're done :)

Don't they look amazing? They taste even better!

New glasses.. and Frenching it up!

...is that even a word? so my glasses came! I love them ... I probably look very nerdy in them and some of you might not think they suit me but I absolutely love them! I decided to, as i say.. French it up? ha.. I'm a hat lover, love love hats.. and when I was younger whenever my dad would travel I'd ask for different types of hats. So once upon a time I asked for the French beret.. and I don't care whether they are in or not, I love the style, I feel no matter what they'll always look classic and chic. Since I have so many hats I should probably do a blast from the past hat photo shoot.. that would be something wouldn't it?

Just so you know, a lot of you are the ones who helped with my final decision of getting these glasses so thanks a lot :) I always appreciate your comments and help! x

Something new..

So I've been thinking for a while to do like a one day post where I kind of rant and talk about things that happened during the week, guys, relationships, everything..not fashion related. Just that one post once a week. I noticed I don't really write a lot, and I thought of doing a whole writing post (with occasional pictures) about just me.. Too much? I wanted to do sort of a personal post every Sunday, to sort of round up the whole week :)

Hairstyle of the Day: Messy Bun

A little while ago I did a post on a casual favourite style for the hair, The messy bun. I've been a little crazed the past few days with showing my cousins around the city and studying for finals, I haven't really had the time to do my hair. So the I felt the messy bun was a cute and easy hairstyle to wear.

So I had a bit of time to make a visit to the mall this weekend.. I've been dying to go to the mall for a while now, and even thought I didn't find everything I wanted, I did manage to find a few cute things.

Lady Gaga Concert

So I wasn't able to post these before because I've been super swamped with school over load! (can't wait till I'm done!) So I decided to finally post some pictures from the Lady Gaga concert I went to last Monday. Let me say that Lady Gaga is a true talent in my opinion, I've always loved her songs because they were catchy and fun, but the experience of the concert blew me away. Never have I been to a concert where the artist was so connected with their audience. Her voice was incredible live and as per usual, she wore some of the craziest outfits ever and I honestly liked a lot of them! I had such an amazing time, definitely worth the ticket. If you ever get a chance to see Lady Gaga live, do it! you won't regret it I promise :)

Today was the first day in so long where I actually didn't worry that I had something to do, or something was due for class. Headbands

Headbands became really popular after the famous 'Blair Waldorf' made them a fashion statement on Gossip Girl. I've always been a headband girl. The reason why I avoid wearing them sometimes is because they make me look much younger.. I know right who doesn't want to look younger? But I've always had this thing because any random person I meet says I don't look like a 20 year old but maybe 14 or 15.. and looking younger I have this imaginary thought that it means people won't take me seriously.. I over analyze as you can tell. Well anyways, even though I don't exactly wear all of them, not out anyways, I somehow seem to have a pretty big collection of them. A few people have asked me to make a post on headbands and where to find them. These are some headbands that I really liked! A lot of places you can find good headbands are H&M, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21..

Trip to Lakeshore

So today my dad decided to wake me up on one of my only day offs at 8am, to have breakfast. Yes waking up at that time was not my favourite thing to do, but we ended up going to a really great breakfast place on Lake shore called "Sunset Grill". I'm not a huge pancake person but I'd definitely eat them here, they're sooo good! We walked around a little and I got a chance to take a few shots. After that my sister and I joined a friend of ours at a restaurant to watch the final match of the world cup. The satellite actually stopped working in the last 10 minutes of the game because of the weather.. It was really weird, it was sunny one minute, then the next its pouring rain and thunder storms. But I guess living in Toronto for four years, I should be used to this by now. So we didn't want to miss the game, so we left, ran in the rain and ended up getting soaked! The only dilemma I had though was my hair! heh .. well thank god they went over time and we got to watch the end of it.. and as all you MAY know, Spain won their first world up ever! Even though I was rooting for Brazil.. It was well deserved! Spain should be really proud! Sooo enough with my ranting :)) Hope you guys all had an eventful Sunday! xx

So I know I've been posting a lot of things that I like, Wish lists etc. But I've got a lot more personal posts coming up!
